Happy first of December beauties! I honestly didn’t think Blogmas was going to be something I was going to do, but here we are! I decided that a good toe in for me would be posting this guide to my favourite winter lip shades.
Now, if you’re a reader of my blog or you know me, you’ll know how much I love lippy sticks. Winter is my absolute favourite time of year because it’s the season of reds, plums and gorgeous deep browns – it’s all about the impact of a bold lip and I love making a statement with my makeup when I can. So I’ve made a list of my top go-to lipsticks for Winter. You ready?
I only discovered Milani a couple of months ago but when I ordered my first lipstick I loved it. They’re super moisturising on the lips and the colour pay off is amazing. Rose Femme is my perfect pink nude and I think it looks beautiful whatever the season, so I had to include it in this list.
Now, nudes may not be what you’re expecting for a winter lipstick list, but this nude makes me super happy this time of year. It’s gorgeous and now I’m not as tanned as I usually am during the summer, this is the perfect colour for me.
If you know me, you know I’m not a lover of Kylie Cosmetics but this shade from her 2016 Christmas collection is my FAVOURITE winter lippy colour. Plus the packaging is my favourite she has ever done, so what can I say?
Orange is a the new everything. Pumpkin Pie is one of my favourite shades JStar has ever created. It looks gorgeous on and it adds a flare to almost any look. I know not many people like JStar and that’s cool, but I can’t deny his velour lipsticks are my favourite formula.
Now, I received this gloss from Influenster a few weeks ago and it’s OFFICIALLY in my top 5. The colour is super pigmented, they’re not sticky, they look beautiful on the lips and they work perfectly to brush up a normal red lip to something glossy and fabulous. I would honestly, hands down say this was my newest favourite lippy product. I’m not ever sorry.
So there we have it! My top 5 winter lip colours, what do you think? What are your fave lip products for winter? Any posts you’d like this Blogmas? Let me know.
