Disclaimer: I would usually start these posts by saying “happy *whatever day it is* but this is day twenty of blogmas, but today is the twenty-first. I’m late with this post, but I have my reasons. I felt so low yesterday I couldn’t bring myself to write out anything, so because I knew I needed a day off, I took it, so there will be two posts today!
Today’s post is a ‘would you rather’ Christmas tag! I was tagged by the wonderful Emily from ThatCreativeGenius. She has a wonderful blog and you should go and check out her “would you rather” tag! She’s asked me five questions, and for this post, I’m not going to tag anyone! If you want to do this tag, just do it! I’ll leave a set of questions at the bottom for you guys, and if you answer tag me on Twitter (@efforlescent) and let me know.
Christmas or Halloween?
Christmas. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Halloween, but there’s something about the month of December that I find so magical. Everyone comes alive, and everyone seems to be happier. There’s amazing food, Christmas markets, pretty lights everywhere, and it just warms my heart.
Quality Street or Celebrations?
Celebrations. Even though I’m still in mourning of the Galaxy Truffle, Celebration tubs contain all of my favourite chocolates, so I can’t say no to them.
Brussel Sprouts or Parsnips?
Sprouts are probably my number one favourite vegetable. So Christmas is my favourite food time of year, because they’re finally accepted on a cooked dinner! Honestly, a running joke in my family is that they could give me a plateful of sprouts and gravy and I’d be a very happy girl.
Christmas songs or Christmas films?
This is probably the hardest question of all. I love watching Christmas films when I cuddled up in bed with a hot water bottle and my puppy, but then Christmas songs are what I have on when I’m wrapping, cooking, driving throughout December… So… If I had to pick, I’d probably say songs. They play a larger role in my month than the films do, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love Elf!
Friends with Frosty the Snowman or Rudolf the Reindeer?
Frosty the Snowman. The Snowman is one of my favourite films and I’ve always been a little jealous.
So there we have it, I nominate all of you reading this to take part, here are your questions:
- Have to sing “Jingle Bells” every time you walked into a room? Or wear a Santa suit to work/school everyday for December?
- Have tinsel decorating your bedroom? Or one small Christmas tree?
- Elf? Or Home Alone?
- Getting many small presents? Or one big present?
- Be one of Santa’s elves? Or one of Santa’s reindeer?
If you enjoyed this, feel free to take part in the tag! Mention me on Twitter/leave a comment down below if you do, because I’d love to read it!
